See, what most people don't realized (including Americans) is that kid's soccer has grown so much that we *actually know how to play the game*. We may not be good at it yet, but I'll bet Beckham, when not in an egocentric fit, has actually taught his US teammates a thing or two. I'll finish this semi-stream-of-consciousness (or stream of semi-consciousness) with this thought: Illegal immigrants from Central and South America have caused the want/need for the Beautiful Game here, and by golly we're taking to it.
